Here are a selection of some of the things we've been up to. You'll find more within the Trust's Activities section.
During 2007 we held a new CD exhibition within the museum, "Up Close and Visible" - a selection of Newstead Artefacts - full of Roman treasures not previously seen outside the National Museum in Edinburgh.
Come to the Three Hills Roman Heritage Centre and explore the interactive display that contains Parade helmets, Cavalry equipment, Luxuries, Jewellery and Beliefs.
Meeting the Ancestor
The face of a Roman soldier - Trimontium Man reconstructed from his skull, found in 1846, can be seen in the Museum.
Up Close & Visible
A unique and beautiful Roman Helmet found by James Curle in the 1905-1910 dig returned to Melrose from safekeeping at the National Museum. It featured as the centrepiece for the 2006 season. More information including an interactive version with numerous 3 dimensional representations of our artefacts can be found within the museum itself.
