Tam Ward of Biggar talked on Thurs. 23 Oct 2008 in the Corn Exchange on ..'saved from a watery grave' - the story of his Bronze Age rescue excavations on the edges of reservoirs in the good summer of 2006
On 30 Oct George Dalgleish of the National Museums told us about 'Reconstructing the Traprain Law Treasure' - the silver hoard found by James Curle's brother Alexander in 1919.
On Thurs 6 Nov '....to the shores of Tripoli' l illustrated, in the Parish Church Hall, the trip of Trust members in September 2008, under Dr John Reid, to Leptis Magna in Libya, the birthplace of the Emperor Septimius Severus, who visited Trimontium in the early 3rd century.
